Vocabulary 1 – Gramatica inglesa
El vocabulario es el conjunto de palabras que forman parte de un idioma específico, conocidas por una persona u otra entidad (como un diccionario). La adquisición del vocabulario (tanto en el primer idioma como en los segundos y/o extranjeros), es un proceso muy complejo. El primero es el vocabulario que el sujeto entiende sin ayuda o con muy poca ayuda, pero que no es capaz de utilizar autónomamente. El segundo, es el vocabulario que el sujeto comprende sin problemas, pero que además, es capaz de utilizar cuando lo necesita y sin necesidad de ayuda.
En este post os damos algunos ejemplos de vocabulario en inglés que os pueden ser de gran utilidad en la vida cotidiana.

Ejemplo:
1- Clive Moon married Rose Harris in September 1940. They had two children- a boy called Barry and a girl called Cynthia. Barry met his wife, Nancy Thomas, at university and they got married five years later. In 1974, their daughter, Amanda, was born. The same year, Barry´s sister, Cynthia, met her husband, Paul Baston. She asked her brother, Barry, to be best-man at their wedding.
Ejemplo:
2- Not long after the wedding, Nancy and Barry had a son. They called him Collin. Barry´s parents, Rose and Clive, were thrilled. Now they had two grandchildren. Soon they would have three. In 1982, their second grandson, Peter, was born. This also meant that Barry was now an uncle and Nancy an aunt. Both were very fond of their new nephew, Peter, and pleased that their own children now had a cousin.
